I couldn't help myself

I swore to myself that I wouldn't start knitting the WONDERFUL Nova dress I found on Signe's blog yesterday - and she shares it here as well.
I'm already knitting elephants, I said to myself.

My willpower lasted for at least 4 hours!

Then I had to give in.

I pulled out the gorgeous yarn Hindbær from Garnudsalg and some of the Junik yarn from Noda, and cast on the stitches for little beautiful Nova - with lots of stripes and raglan...

  7. Dear all of you - thanks a lot. I'm so happy that you all liked the pattern which Signe made. It deserves every praising comment. :))

And I can tell from your comments, that we might see even more NOVAs out there very soon. Think of all the many, many colour combinations it can be made in! And I just love the size range of the pattern.

  8. Oh Ulla, I still haven't finished the red raglan jacket for the girl... I wonder if it will still fit her once it's finished?

I should really think about sending it to a very talented (and quick) lady somewhere in Denmark...

The dress is wonderful but I wonder if I would ever finish it...

    TAK for tippet, Ulla

  10. I know the feeling too well, Nina. ;))I have loads of unfinished knits - also the kind that should have fitted Emil when he was about six! So don't feel bad about the red jacket. ;))
However it's so sweet of you to trust me to get it done. :))

I just adore the Nova dress! I like to be able to let the stitches pass through my fingers without having to count and count - like I have to with the elephants. A mix of 2 knits like those, is perfect for me. ;))

Have a lovely weekend with your family, Nina and take care.

    xx

    ...........
