Jeg ved at hun er SÅ spændt. . .

...........

I know that she is SO excited...

I'm so fond of a girl, who is very, very excited during the next hours. My sweet niece Emma got a super surprise by her bigsister Ida, one her confirmation day. Together with Ida she was going to hear - and see - Lady Gaga when she came to Parken  (in Copenhagen) to performe.

And now the day has arrived. I'm so excited to hear her tell about the concert, and all the other stuff which such an event brings along.

A big music experience can make a huge impact on you, no matter whether you are a child or a grownup. I heard my very first concert back in 1983, when my parents took me to Grøn Koncert to listen to my very favorite band of the time - Sneakers.

The band has long gone broke up, but thus not the chance of hearing and feeling live music. Like this concert...which probably is my vert best so far. Which one is your best?

Dizzy Mizz Lizzy - Love is a Loser's Game

Remember last time when I mentioned Dizzy Mizz Lizzy?? How we didn't succed in getting tickets for their reunion concerts??

Guess what my daughter and her boyfriend are giving me for my birthday later this month??

Tickets to hear and see Dizzy Mizz Lizzy!!!

I feel so lucky....to have the tickets - and most of all to have such a sweet and caring daughter.

Dizzy Mizz Lizzy - 11:07 PM

If you pass by my house these days, you will probably hear this song - a bit too loud. I have loved it for ages, and so does Anne-Sophie now. Dizzy Mizz Lizzy, the children off from school and holiday...who can ask for more on such a sunny autumn day? Have a wonderful Tuesday...

And for a very brief moment we hoped to get tickets for one of the reunion concerts with Dizzy Mizz Lizzy....but no! They were already gone :(

Emma in The Middleages

The other day Christian and I went to see my niece Emma in a play and we saw it at her school. Sadly Emil and Anne-Sophie couldn't join us beacause Emil was at school, and Anne-Sophie is in Norway with her class.

The play was about some pupils, who were going to take a test about the Middle Ages. And by using a certain time machine, some of the pupils ended up in the that age and learned a whole lot about life in those days. Emma was a salesperson at a market and in the picture you can see her in her booth selling jewellery.

Lots of beautiful songs and funny lines were performed by the children, and I really think they did a wonderful job. I just love to hear children sing, and all the time I could hear Emma's sweet voice.

It was a pleasure to see Emma in the play - and to see how much work they all had done to make it look and sound great......

Sound of angels

Late this afternoon I heard the most beautiful concert performed by the youth choir at Viborg Cathedral.

My dear niece Ida sings in the choir and I had looked so much forward to hearing her sing some wonderful Christmas hymns....I love to hear children and young people sing and the fact that the concert was in the breathtaking cathedral, also put a special feeling to it all.

I was NOT disappointed - it was SO beautiful and solemn. Every time I looked at Ida I felt so touched meanwhile the gorgeous sounds filled my ears and heart.

Thank you so much dear Ida for the beautiful experience....

Tournesol

Back in October our very dear friends Håkan and Lotte invited us out.... We were not to know what it was all about. That was a surprise. Christian and I spent many hours pondering about the surprise. What could it be?? Various proposals were tossed in the air, but none of them came close to the actual event. Finally the day arrived....we were going to a concert!! Christian and I both love music, and especially live. Sadly Liselotte was taken ill and couldn't go with the rest of us.

These fellows were the ones which we were going to see and hear in concert....

Neither Christian nor I had heard about this band before, but now we will never forget them. Actually we hear their songs rather frequently - and loud - at the moment (Anne-Sophie and Emil have even gotten to know the lyrics and sing along).

We were not many people at the concert, but placed in a fairly small room with round tables and chairs, we atttended the best intimate and personal concert ever.

The music was simply brilliant and the band was amazing. Two guitars and a singer...you wouldn't believe how well they performed.

I can only give Tournesol my best recommandations and you should really go to their website and listen to "Weekend Superman"...Or even better attend a concert of theirs!

I do however think that the best part of all this is, that we fell so lucky in our little family to have friends like Liselotte and Håkan and their children. It's so fantastic and heartwarming that they wanted to give us such a wonderful evening.....I hope we will be able to surprise them in the future!
