Sunny days

This weekend the wonderful weather finally came to us here in Denmark !!!
It made people around us smile, and gave us the beauty of open flowers....

Eventhough is was so amazing outside, I didn't really have the time to enjoy it for real. But luckily it looks like we are blessed with the warmth of the sun for a few more days. Then I will definitely be outside!

I did, however, get to plant all of my peaflowers in my greenhouse and enjoy all of the little Lavenders which I made the other day. I hope they will grow - it should be rather easy, and I did it before - so I will be able to plant them in my garden in a short time....

The postman brought sunshine as well - new adoring fabrics from the USA came today. I just LOVE the one with the sheep....

...but the ladybirds will do just fine, too!

And the many measuringtapes, they make me smile...

The weekend also brought far too much dog talk!!! But that's another story - at the moment we are talking about a Cocker Spaniel....but who knows what it will be??

    Astrid ;o)

  3. Glad to hear you had a sunny weekend in Denmark. It snowed here on Sat.! That was quite a surprise and a disappointment to the mountain bikers in my household.

Love your latest fabric purchases, Ulla! What sweet prints you find. Can't wait to see what you will make with them.

    .....................

    Tak skal du have, Astrid!

Burde egentlig undlade at bestille mere ;0)

    Mange hilsner
    Ulla

You had snow, Kathrine!!! I do see why you got surprised ;0)
How annoying for your family...it's not easy to mountinbike in that kind of weather!

Thanks a lot...I never seem to get enough fabric!
There are so many wonderful prints!!

Have a nice day - without snow hopefully ;0)

  7. HI!
I just found your blog-site and like what I see here. I live right now in Miami, but I'm from Germany and see that your language is a bit similar like my one. Oh, sorry for my bad English...
Well, will see what I can see here more :-)

  9. Brian, our dog, is a cockapoo (or a spoodle). It's a cocker mixed with a poodle. Cockers are very popular in Canada. They are very nice but a little clumsy! Once, Brian was so excited playing with other dogs that he didn't see the picnic table and ran face first into it! His nose was bleeding!!! Anyway, I have a lot of "funny" stories like that with Brian but also with cockers!

  10. I just want to say THANK YOU for your birthday wishes!!!!My heart jumped when I red your comment:)
Yes, the weekend was amazing, but I had no time for gardening:( cause my sister looked for a house in the near of Flensborg. Finally she had luck, and got a little perfect home for her family:))... in 2 weeks is the big day she is moving in and now I´m sooo glad that she is not so far away now. Thank god that your allergie is gone!!! My mom is allergic against most everything ( dust, plants, treas, animals, nuts and and and and.....) and it is a horror in springtime when all the plants start growing! I wish you a great week and I hope we will get a lot sun:)))....*Marie*

  11. Thanks a lot, Louise! I really like these fabrics as well - especially the sheep one!

One thing is for sure; the fabrics will be turned into childrens' clothes.... :0)

The sun has been amazing lately...and it's even here today too! It's always funny to hear how the weather is in other parts of the world, but you are right - it can get rather confusing ;0)

    ...........

Thank you so much, Oiyi! I would have loved to have the ladybird fabric, in all the colours in the line ;0)

I would love to read your blog, but I can't seem to find it....

    ...............

I'm happy that you like my blog, Macamo! Danish and German is a bit similar - at least our countries are neighbours...
Your English is good, I think :0)-
    hope to "see" you again...

    ..............

    Sheep rock, rachel rabbit!! ;0)
Sheep and weird birds are my absolute favourites!

    ...............

I feel sorry for your poor Brian and his bleding nose, Claudia! Not a good thing to run into the pininc table ;0)

We are going to see a puppie next week...I can hardly wait nor can the rest of the family :0)

    ....................

I'm so happy to hear that your sister has found a house closer to you. That must be absolutly wonderful for the both of you...

I'm sure you deserved to get spoiled by your family on your birthday :0)

It's amazing that my allergies for dogs have dissapeared - sadly I'm still allergic to dust like your mother :0( I feel sorry for her being allergic to so many things. That's not nice at all!

It made me so happy to hear from you....
Have a wonderful day too, Marie :0)

    Mange hilsner
    Ulla
