The front and the back on the little Norwegian sweater is coming along. I have started the finale pattern row, and then there's only the piece with buttonholes left.
Actually I have considered dropping the buttons on the shoulders, and putting in a zipper instead. In the front of the sweater, that is...
I just thought that it might be easier to put the sweater on and take off, with a zipper.
We will see how it all ends up.
For the moment being I want to enjoy time with my family, light a candle or two and leave the knitting alone.
I 'd love the same one (in bigger !!) for myself ! no need even for a zipper i can button things like a big girl ;)
ReplyDeletehappy week to you xo
Wow! That is looking oh so gorgeous and fancy.
They do look great in grown up size too, Valerie - I totally agree with that.
ReplyDeleteWhen I got to know my husband in his "young days", he always wore Norwegian sweaters knitted by his mom. ;))
I'm soon done with this little one - I decided to go for the buttons. :))
Take care and
a lovely week to you too
XO
...........
Thank you so much, Kate. :))
It's so funny to knit - I always feel that way with pattern. I just need to knit just another row. ;))
...........
by Lise Kolstad and Tone Takle.
Jeg håber at du fik hvilet inden nattens arbejde. :))
