39 + Chain Maille??

Would my 39 years do well with a knitted Chain Maille?? Nooo, not really...too bad!

Because I would have loved to have this fabulous piece of clothing, if I were an adventurous boy. Well, that I didn't even have to be...an ordinary boy would be perfect.

I'm over the moon about this sweater designed by Alison Stewart-Guinee.

She has made a book full of breathtaking patterns and the name of the book gives you an idea of what it contains: Fairy Tale Knits: 32 Projects to Knit Happily Ever After.

To make such a book is a wonderful thought. It truely respects the need children have for dressing up and playing while using their imagination. And besides that, it seems to be very beautiful and well designed clothes.

I have seen a lot of the designs on ravelry and on Amazon, and I simply must have this book. Now, my little nephews and nieces have to get Fairy Tale clothes and accessories...and I'm sure they will love it.

Who wouldn't love to be Red Riding Hood , Snowwhite or Robin Hood?

  2. I have this book. My mother is currently working on the Princess sweater and next up is the felted muff but the boy patterns are especially good

    .............

That sounds wonderful, icile. :)) I bet that your daughter is looking forward to your mom making it.
I dreamt of a muff my entire childhood. Imagine how cozy it will be when winter starts for real. :))
That book will definitely become a favourite of mine. :))

    .........

That is just how I felt too, Angela! The shape and the knitting is so beautiful...it would work great as both. :))
And how lovely with some things for boys. :))

    Hav en hyggelig mandag...
