While my husband has been working with fine sandpaper and oil on our kitchentable, I have been working in much smaller scales.
A little plate rack-ish shelf, which Emil and I found on a local fleamarket a couple of years ago, has been painted in the softest mix of light blue and mint - and has been waiting for knobs!
To prevent it from becoming too pastel, I decided to buy wooden knobs and paint them in neon colours.
Well, actually my first thought was to make crocheted knobs somewhat like these from Pickles. (A very cool idea if you ask me). But having looked long and hard for the right size of knobs without any luck, made me resort to paint instead.
I like how they turned out, and now I just want to give the 3 of them a coat of varnish, so they can withstand a lot of pulling drawers in and out. Tiny drawers for bits and bobbins...
Tak, Ulla... Og i lige måde... ;-)
