I have been keen on finding a similar pattern for myself (I have been told that the fit is good). But I have had no luck, until I saw the pattern Marie a while ago...and forgot all about it till tonight.
The pattern has just the right shape and I just adore the neckline - round and feminin. And the length is perfect!
I have so much fabric that I can use for lots of Marie dresses. Dots, stripes and of course Gingham. But also beautiful plain ones, which I would love to decorate with tiny embroidered details. And not forgetting gorgeous bias tape. I just bought the most cool one today in an intense - almost neon like - yellowish green.
From experience I know that mail from France doesn't take many days to reach Denmark. I can't wait to try out whether the pattern is as good as I hope for...
Sjovt.
ReplyDeleteGod weekend.
It's a beautiful pattern. Nice and simple shape I can't wait to see what you do with it x
Hav en dejlig lørdag.

I think so too, Kate - simple and lovely. I truely have high hopes for it! ;)
Hopefully I make something you like when I get to cut out the fabric and add some personal details. I would love to wear all kinds of different Marie dresses/tunics all summer. :))
Have a wonderful Weekend.
I've bought the book " Coton, lin & Liberty" d'A.Le provost, the Citronille patterns designer. There's a lot of sweet and simple patterns for women. Do you know it ?
ReplyDeleteI wish you "happy sewing" with your new pattern !

Oh, that's a cool book labistrake. :)) I have it, but thanks a lot for the tip. It's just my style, so if I hadn't had the book I would have bought it right away. :))
And I just have to praise your fantastic Kiki dolls again. I'm so thrilled to have gotten to see your work on flickr. :))
