Now I need to embroider the yellow numbers on another piece of Gingham linen.
In Denmark 7-9-13 is an old saying if you are superstitious. A bit like "knock on wood".
I'm going to use this one for a pillow, and the same thing is going to happen to the one with the yellow numbers. When it's done...

Are they made with french nods? If they are: I take my hat off to your patience. Woaw.
ReplyDeleteI love the font you use, how the nr. 1 is smaller than nr. 3
Hvor er det blevet fint.
ReplyDeleteIt is looking great and I agree with "life in yonder", your patience is amazing!
ReplyDeleteSadly they aren't, Anne. I'm so miserable at that particular stitch! I used to be able to make it, but all of a sudden I can't seem to get it right...
ReplyDeleteAnd thanks a lot...I love that font too - now I can't remember what it's called. :))
..............

Thanks a lot, Nina. :)) I loved making those numbers. The stitches were a blast to make. I'm sure I will try that again.
I'm usually very patient as a person, but not as much as I used to be. But with this work it was definitely needed! ;))
Have a lovely Tuesday,
happy thoughts,
Ulla
yay i've learned something new !!
ReplyDeletei just LOVE your embroidery work !!!
Thank you so much, Valerie. :)) It was really great fun making it. It's just a lot of tiny stitches within the shape of a number.
