The final pair of Espadrillos

The final pair of Espadrillos, originally uploaded by lille-ursus.

All the pairs have now been stitched. I simply had to have a dotty pair as well.

I'm thinking of using the embroidery on a bag, but still haven't decided yet. Maybe I should cut the whole thing up and use the espadrillos pairs one by one?

Have a great weekend.....

  3. Since I travel a lot I always have the problem with shoes in my suitcase and have some simple but nice cotton shoe bags for them.

It would be a very sweet christmas gift to make a few for friends/ family members who travel a lot. Each time they would open their suitcase, they would think of you and send you a smile...

Plus it is great to have finished a few christmas gift at the end of summer so you could relax in December!

That would of course mean that you need to keep the prettiest of the espadrillos for yourself. If you would ask me - keep the dotted ones ;-)

    A big hug,

    Juliane

  5. Dear Ulla,

they are great! I think here are a few persons (at least I know three - you are included) who just love white dots on red fabric and you should send your designs to makers of Espandrillos, so they can copy some of your ideas - I bet they will be sold in an eyeblink.

I think they could look sweet also on a summers skirt botton line? But to be honest I have no clue how you could cut them out and put them on the fabric... But you do, I know.

Have a great weekend, sending you a warm hug,

    Nina

    Rigtig god mandag. :))

    ..............

What a great idea, Juliane!! I hadn't thought of that, but what an obvious and perfect idea.

I have also planned to finish some Christmas presents early this year. Hopefully I will not be disturbed this Christmas by yet another operation in my back!

The dotty ones are definitely also my favourites...and the white and pale blue ones with stripes. ;))

A big hug for you too :))

    ....................

    ................

Oh, yes that would be great! On a skirt...I have come to the conclusion that I'm going to cut them apart. That's the best way of using them, because I want to try out the fabulous ideas you and Juliane and Wenche have given me. :))

Have a lovely Monday, Nina :)))

    ...............

Thanks a lot, Torie Jayne. :) They were so funny to make with all the little stripes and dots. Now I'm going to embroider some of Polka Dot Bunny's gorgeous patterns :)

Have a great week too :))
