Waiting for a parcel from Japan....

I can hardly wait untill this book will drop into my letter box....and neither can Anne-Sophie.

There are so many elegant patterns in this book, that I don't know how to pick out my favourite. Really!! However, I'm sure that I will get to make lots from this book. For my daughter and for me....and maybe something for my sister.

It is certainly Japanese casual elegance in the way both Anne-Sophie and I adore it. And so many of the designs are suitable to be sewed in linen and flax.

But other kinds of fabric will do as well. Liberty fabric would be very appropiate for the tunics and dresses and of course my beloved Gingham. Or maybe Mælkedrengestriber!

For now I will eagerly await for the book to be sent - all the way from Japan.

Thank you so much. I'm really happy that you like what I find. :))

The weather is getting better - the rain has stopped for a while and the girls are safe and sound indoors - back home ;))

    Happy summer greetings,
    Ulla :))

  14. yep ! but was quite a good girl, since I stayed one hour only (could have spent the day in, but i was with my 10 year old daughter who complained she couldn't read the mangas that weren't translated i French of course !) and bought 3 books only.
I'll have them on my blog in August -- 1 is aldult sewing and the 2 other crochet.

  15. Linen is the fabric, flax is the fiber from which it is made.
