Kaffe Fassett

Once more Kaffe Fassett has designed the most gorgeous fabrics. I actually got to know his designs through his fabulous knitting. But that man is so much more than yarn.

I love so many of his fabric designs, but this time the fabrics above turned out to be the ones I love the most from his new collection.

Which one to buy is quite hard to decide, because I like the 4 color combinations equally.

Which is your favourite? (if you like them at all!)

  4. I'm not a huge Kaffe Fasset one but I do like the green one. His paperweight and roman glass fabrics are also excellent basics.

  6. All of them are so beautiful! But maybe this one with blue background I like more :)
It was so interesting to see Kaffe Fassett fabrics, because I knew only his knitting patterns till now. Thanks for sharing :)

Tak for ros - Ulla.

  11. Dear Ulla, what a hard decision... Looking at them more deeply (but on a tiny piece) I think I'd prefer the most Lime or Turquoise... but I think one has to see them in a bit of a fabric.

    They will make marvellous things.

I have had a deeper look into your blog history and I'm impressed! Your dress for ouyr friend and neighbour, and all the other nice pieces and parts - how very very nice!

    Kindest regards Nina

    ..........

Me too, Iinu...I can't say that I don't like any of them. But I guess I would choose the red one if I have to. ;)

    ...........´

I really love him, Nicole - but his things are rather special, so I think that it's either love it or hate it. ;)

    ............

My pleasure, Jurga. I remember when I first saw his fabrics. I was so amazed. Back then I only knew his knitting as well.
The blue one is fine. Very suitable for summer dresses. :)

    ............

    ...............

Thank you very much for your sweet words, Nina. I'm happy that you took the time to read some of my stuff in here. ;)
The dress for my friend was very funny to make. I remember how I carried the dress back and forwards between our two houses in order to take measurements.

I think that you are right - a bigger piece of fabric would make a difference, when deciding. :)
