Bunny

Baby Binky Bunny, originally uploaded by lille-ursus.

The baby Binky Bunny sits in our bookcase, while I'm making the blanket for it. (I tried to embroider 2 small safety pins on the diaper with some silver thread, but I don't know if I'm the only one, who can tell what they are!!)

Hopefully the bunny will not have to sit there for a long time, because I'm eager to get the knitted dress and the bunny sent to Copenhagen.

But when I get to do that, all depends on how far I get with the blanket today...

  2. Of course one can tell they are safety pins! How sweet it looks and I guess the little lady will be more that happy to get the bunny and the dress.

The fabrics are wonderful (like all your fabrics I think ; ) ).

    Kind regards Nina

  4. oh, it turned out so cute! I really love the gingham, makes me want to sew another one. Thanks for the kind links and words on this and the previous post. And your embroidery is beautiful. What a lucky, lucky 3 yr old in Copenhagen!

    Rigtig god aften. :0))

Oh, I'm so happy that it's easy to see what they are, Nö!
I'm finishing the little blanket which the bunny is going to be wrapped in like a baby. It's made in patchwork, so some of my many scraps were used....

I hope that the little Sara will like it all.

    Kind regards,
    Ulla :0)

    .................

Thank you very much, Christy. I tried to make it personal and special, by choosing the fabrics I love. :0) And of course I had to add a bit of pink, since it's for a little girl. ;0)

    .................

I'm happy that you like it, Larissa. Thank you so much. :0)) I think I need to make one more with open eyes - maybe for a little boy this time.
It was a pleasure to write about your pattern and mention your blog and shop. :0)

I hope our little niece likes the bunny as much as I do. ;0)

Thanks a lot, Angela. :0) I remember that was how napkins were closed earlier on. So I wanted to see if I could make those safty pins in a realistic way. ;0)

  12. Thank you very much, Dovilé :0) I thought that the pattern was cute too, so I had to buy it, to try it out. ;0)

    .............

Jurga, thanks a lot. :0) I just had to use Gingham once more! Dots would look great too, I think. Red fabric with white dots - that would be funny to try out. ;0)

    ..............

Oh, that's great, Di :0)) I wasn't sure that anyone could see what they were!
I'm planning to make the bunny a little bunny friend - I'm going to knit a tiny one. ;0)

    ...............

  14. Thank you so much, Reread. :0) Soon it will be a bunny with a tiny toy bunny... ;0)

    .............

    Og mange tak... :0))
