Redcap, Mario and flowers

Yesterday I managed to transfer this embroidery to the Gingham tunic I'm making for myself. It's Little Redcap designed by Cathy Gaubert, and I have been looking so much forward to getting her on a piece of clothes.
Maybe you remember one of Little Redcap's sisters Ursula. Oh, how I love that designer...Cathy has a very special talent.
It was my first try with a blue transfer pen, and I didn't get it as clear as I wanted it to be. But I can see Little Redcap enough to embroider her on to the fabric.
Another embroidery is all the Marios. I have almost finished the bag for Anne-Sophie, and I brought it along when we went to her and Tim's apartement to have supper. The strap needed to be measured to get the right length.

I also took these with me - Anne-Sophie loves to get flowers from our garden. I like how light and summery it looks...

  1. Det Mario Net er bare så fedt !!!
    Tænk at kunne brodere.
Og buketten er smuk. Have blomster er altså det smukkeste.

  5. Dear Ulla, I already tried to leave a comment yesterday, but I think it did not work ... so I try again today. I like your lovely and inspiring blog a lot and have been visiting it for quite a while. Lately I fell in love with the fabrics you posted a picture of on the 9th - this seems to be a hopeless love, because I can not find them anywhere in Germany. Would you mind letting me know the designer? I especially adore the brown one ...
    Greetings from Kerstin

  6. Dear Kerstin,

Thank you so much for your sweet words about my blog - I'm happy that you like to read it. :))

The fabric is from a Norwegian shop called Tamo (www.tamo.no). You will find the fabric under the third word "stoff" in the row on the left.
Sadly I don't know which company makes the lovely fabric. But I do know that if one wants to place an order and doesn't live in Norway, then you can write them a mail at info@tamo.no.
I hope this is helpful. Good luck. :))

  7. Dear Ulla, thanks a lot for your fast and kind answer!! I will contact the shop tomorrow ... I can already see my little daughter and myself wraped in the gorgeous fabric (of course after it has become a blouse, a tunic, a dress ...;o). I really look forward to seeing your redcap tunic when it is finished!!
    Greetings from Kerstin
