Yesterday my dear niece Emma broke her arm, while playing at school - unfortunately so bad that she had to go through surgery...I feel so sorry for her.
I thought that she might feel the need for an extra little friend, so I made her this dotty hippopotamus....
I bought her a whole lot of candy too and I know Emil will make Emma a welcome home Makronsiand cake when she returns home from hospital....
ReplyDeleteHej Astrid!
ReplyDeleteJa, stakkels lille Emma...
i hope your emma is feeling better, i would with that lovely hippo!
ReplyDeleteyou know i have to tell you that i adore greengate and we are so lucky to be able to get it all the way down here. i also have a matching jug and would love some spotty red and white cups. i did have 2 cups that michael and i drank our coffee out of every morning and just the other morning i broke one. i never break things but it slipped when i was drying it and that was that! so now the survivor is my morning tea cup!
i love the look of that lucinda book as well. i will have to have that too!
have a lovely day x
Poor Emma, I hope she makes the most of it and gets really spoilt, and gets better soon. What a lovely gift to give!
ReplyDeleteOh no! Poor little Emma :(
ReplyDeleteI'm sure that she will feel a lot better when she will get that cute little hippo!
Stakkels Emma.
Thanks a lot, Louise :0) She is feeling better but has to go through yet another surgery today!!
ReplyDeleteI just love Greengate too. Their fabrics are simply georgeous....and the mugs - well I guess I could keep buying new ones year after year as new designs come along. Or if the break - I have dropped a few too ;0)
You should definitely get the Lucinda Guy book...it's wonderful!!
Have a lovely day as well...

Thank you so much, Liz :0)
She has been really spoilt, but she deserves it a lot!
And all her friends keep giving her nice, little presents and sweet cards...

How sweet of you to say so, Claudia....I really felt so sorry for her - she is such an adoring girl, with so much life and happiness in her!

Hun brækkede faktisk armen helt over lige over albuen, og i dag skal hun igen opereres.
ReplyDeleteawwww I love that hippo, I am sure that it will help her to feel much better :) Catherine
ReplyDeleteHvor er det sødt af dig, Gitte! :0)
Rigtig god fredag....
