Aparte from coming back happy and safe - which was the very best present I could have - Anne-Sophie gave me this fine set from Thailand and a beautiful fabric shoulder bag.
The blue ceramic set is perfect for our kitchen and now it stands on our diningtable. With salt & pepper in the 2 round ones.
I'm sure that there is a very specific purpuse, for the 2 little jars with lids and fine wooden spoons. What it is I do not know, so I will use them for different things: sugar, dressing, oil and vinegar.
Happy to hear your dear girl is home again, Ulla.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely present she brought you from her travels. I love the "crackly" look of that blue ceramic ware. Very pretty.
Good Anne-Sophie and her love have returned safe and with loads of memories and goodies!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend,
XX Nina
Oh I enjoy !
ReplyDeleteOg fine gaver :-)
I'm so glad she's home safely...and what a beautiful set...perfect in fact!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful weekend..
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Katherine. :)) I'm so happy to have her back from her journey. She was so tired the first days - so many impressions to digest and time to catch up with. :))
ReplyDeleteI love this kind of ceramic too. :))
..............
It was so wonderful to see Anne-Sophie and Tim again, Nina. :)) And to give them a big hug.
Luckily Anne-Sophie has been here at home for some days, because she works on her after-school job in our town. Almost like in "old days."
And a wonderful weekend to you too.
Ulla XX
...............
So do I, nata. It was a beautiful present. My daughter knows me so well. :))

................
That's so sweet of you, Millie -I'm so glad that she's home too :)) Even though I try so very hard not to be nerveous when our children go away, I still can't stop being a bit concerned.
I know that both Anne-Sophie and Tim are sensible young people, but what happens around us is never easy to control. ;))
And a lovely weekend to you as well. :))
................
what a lovely gift and glad that you can breathe a sigh of relief that she is home safe and sound - thailand is a long way from you! x
ReplyDeleteThanks a lot, Louise. :)) It definitely was a sigh of relief to have Anne-Sophie back home. My mind has been in Thailand so much while she was away!
ReplyDeleteBut now that she has returned, I'm so glad that she had lots and lots of adventures in a totally different culture. :))
