Now one of my cousins has had her baby girl, so it's time for me to finish the 2 knitted presents, before the baby grows out of them....
I made a creme coloured cardigan in wool and silk. It's the one called MINI by Design Club DK, which every knitting woman in the Danish blogworld knows.
The yarn - Duo Silk - is so wonderful and soft....a very important matter when it has to be used close up to soft, soft baby skin.
The other one is a sweater which I imagined would be nice for colder days. It's also made out of soft wool in brown and pale pink. I really like those 2 colours together...
I still need to sew this one together, knit the neckline and add some buttons in one side of the front piece.
Time to pick some buttons...the creme coloured, square ones will be used for the MINI.
I haven't got the right ones for the brown sweater yet! But I do know that they have to be pale pink as the stars!
ReplyDeleteTak for det, Astrid! ;0)
Ohhh, what beautiful, beautiful knits!!
ReplyDeleteBaby knits are the best!

ReplyDeleteThank you so, so much Diane :0) It's funny to make that kind of sizes....
ReplyDelete...................
You are definitely right, oiyi! ;0) It's fun and fast to make at the same time...

ReplyDeleteI love the white sweater..very elegant even for a child!
