Christel Seyfarth

I'm a great fan of Christel Seyfarth (who by the way started Fanø Strikkefestival).

If you click on the picture you go straight to her website

I have been working on the kit Poppy shawl, which I bought from her, for quite a looong time now. It's a BIG and wide shawl, which means many stitches on each row!!

But I know that I will love to wear it once I get it done - this is how it looks so far.

Christel Seyfarth sells handsknits as well as yarn kits, and a few years ago I bought the most wonderful cardigan from her. I use it all the time, when the weather gets cold.

I also have a dream of a new yarn kit she recently designed....It's simply amazing and the colours are fantastic!

Traffic trousers

Traffic trousers - reversible, originally uploaded by lille-ursus.

I'm 37 years old, but if I had been younger then I would have loved to have something out of this fabric!! A nice tunic perhaps ;0)

Otto - the dog formerly known as a Cocker Spaniel

Well, ever since the day we got Otto, we have always thought that he was a bit too big compared to his age.
The same thing was confirmed by the vet at his 1st visit there - he was some what heavier too...
And as the time has passed by, he hasn't developed to look particulary Cocker Spaniel-ish either.

So in order to figure out his excact breed, we have been reading and reading, and looking on various websites about Spaniels. There are 5 breeds all in all.

Now we know the answers - Otto is a Field Trail Spaniel.

That explains him being 10 centimetres taller than the average Cocker Spaniel and almost 5 kilos bigger - so far!!

We only have ourselves to blame, as we didn't buy him at a kennel.

But he is still our loving - some what wild - Otto.....
