Oh no...or oh yes?

Now that I have seen Dr. Martens in yellow, I can't get them out of my head! But on the other hand I can't help thinking that such an intense colour, perhaps doesn't go that well with being 40.

And how weird is that? I have never ever had a problem about my age, but since I had my last birthday, it somehow pops up in my mind, whenever I make a choice concerning my apperence.

It doesn't prevent me from choosing wisely and having it my way in the end, but the fact that the thought enters my mind at all, bothers me horribly. Do you know that feeling?

Oh, and by the way. If you see a 40 year old in yellow Dr. Martens some time in the future, then maybe it's just me...

For little girls...and boys

Photo from design-club.dk

I just bought myself this new - and oh so gorgeous - pattern called FIE from designclub.dk. I like every little bit of this fine and feminine cardigan. From the A-line shape to the tiny dots at the bottom of the cardigan.

It's really the kind of cardigan I would love to see all little girls wearing. It must be so wonderful and free for them to wear. Nothing which fits too tightly - it even has a touch of the twirly factor.

Actually I was rather keen on the green colour on the photo, but I ended up with an iceblue. Along with the knitting kit I ordered the book below, which I mentioned earlier on.

From Eszter Schall's hands

I'm dreaming of this beautiful print called Woman 2011. The artist is Eszter Schall who is a graphic designer and an illustrator. She lives in Hungary, and she has a shop on etsy, where she sells her unique work.

I like the way she uses colours and the fact that she has a naive style. I'm a huge fan of naive artists.

If I have to be completely honest then I had better show you this other print from Eszter Schall as well, called Lovemaking with nature

I want that too...badly.
